Favorite Organizing Products for the Kitchen

June 20, 2022

An organized kitchen looks good and makes preparing meals a little more enjoyable. Let’s talk about some favorite organizing products for the kitchen. Kitchen items tend to be a bit utilitarian but looking for pretty options is always my goal. Being able to locate a spatula or an ice cream scoop is also pretty great.

Come see some of my favorite organizing products for the kitchen – these items are all products that we love and use on a daily basis.

Hold Everything In-Drawer Flatware Organizer – Williams-Sonoma – these are a new purchase to replace bamboo inserts that fell apart. These are sturdy and definitely made to last – a favorite purchase!

Quinn Handcrafted Stoneware Crock Utensil Holder – Pottery Barn – I love the look of stoneware crocks, they make great organizers in the kitchen too.

Hold Everything Stacking Spice Jar Stadium – Williams-Sonoma – I use these in the pantry for holding canned goods. They’re deep so larger cans and jars safely. I purchased 3 and pushed them together to give the illusion that they are all one piece. I love that they give the pantry a built-in look.

iDesign Linus Turntables – Amazon – I have these in the spice cabinet, the pantry (see them in the above image), and under the kitchen sink. They wipe clean easily and store plenty of items with style.

mDesign Corner Organizers – Amazon – If you have a corner cabinet you need these corner organizers. They fit perfectly on the shelf!  I use them for lid storage for glass storage containers.

Rubbermaid Glass Storage 8-Cup Food Containers with Lids – Amazon – I love these for larger freezer items and batch cooking.

What’s your favorite organizing product for the kitchen? Something that makes you smile when you open a drawer or cupboard? Tell us in the comments!  Want to know how I keep the kitchen clean and what I clean on a daily/weekly/monthly basis? Head to this post. Want to see more in my kitchen? Take the tour!

It’s the Little Things #176

June 17, 2022

Temperatures this week absolutely soared here in the Midwest. Hello, 100 degree summer days! When I look back at what I pinned and saved this week, you will see that I was heavily influenced by the weather with my guacamole tip from Real Simple, a delicious grilled pizza recipe from Smitten Kitchen and my new favorite summer drinking glasses from Ball brand. I also loved the clever ways to hide outlets from Jenna Sue Design.

Don’t miss this: Pre-order pricing ends TONIGHT on the brand-new Homekeeping Planners and the Quarterly Daily Planners. Order yours today!

We eat a lot of guacamole in the summer especially. This little trick from Real Simple about how to keep your guacamole from turning brown is intriguing.

We use our grill frequently in the warmer months and we have yet to try homemade pizza on it. I love Smitten Kitchen’s simple approach to cooking and her couldn’t be easier crust recipe is so approachable. Have you tried grilled pizza at your house?

Check out these clever ideas as to how you can hide those kitchen outlets. When you are done with that, have fun perusing all that Jenna Sue Design has on her blog as well.

I shared our new and favorite drinking glasses over on Instagram this week. Should have known that Ball would make the perfect glass for summer drinks!  Grab them here.

June 15, 2022

You don’t have to choose between a busy life and a clean home. Join us in Homekeeping Society to get the clean home you’ve always dreamed of — and keep it that way. The Monthly Focus for July is the Organizing Systems. Every month Homekeeping Society members get a coupon code to use in the shop – the July coupon code is for 20% off the entire shop.

Homekeeping Society is right for you if you want to:

  • Enjoy a fresh & tidy home you love without spending endless hours cleaning.
  • Spend your weekends doing what YOU want to do, rather than playing catchup on the house.
  • Keep your home clean even when you’re super busy and tired!
  • Spend less time cleaning and maintain a clean home — that STAYS clean.
  • End housekeeping overwhelm.

Trying to keep your home clean in the midst of life can add unnecessary stress to an already stressful situation. Your family and responsibilities need your attention. You feel maxed out during the week, so you spend your weekends catching up on cleaning and organizing. It doesn’t have to be like this!

Homekeeping Society is the tool to guide you with what needs to be cleaned and when it needs to be cleaned so you can focus on what’s more important than cleaning.

I’ve also added a Homekeeping Society Quick Start Guide to the subscription – perfect for getting started with the Clean Mama Routine so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your clean home.

What if someone could tell you what and when to clean during the week, so you never spend your weekends cleaning again? I have a tool that’s going to help you take care of your home in a fresh, new way. It’s called Homekeeping Society and it’s the secret to your clean home.

Homekeeping Society is an online membership and community created to guide you to a clean home with minutes—not hours—of cleaning every day.

It’s your secret to getting things done around your home!

Let’s make 2022 the year that you figured out how to keep your home clean efficiently and effectively and with less time. I’ve simplified how to clean a home, what to clean and when to clean it. It’s a system that really works!

At the beginning of the month, print your planning pages and add them to the Homekeeping Binder, planner, or clipboard. Or, upload the interactive PDF to your phone or device (I use Goodnotes with my iPhone and iPad) —they’re compatible!

As a member of Homekeeping Society, you receive Monthly Planning Pages for:

  • To-Do List, Daily, and Weekly Planning Templates
  • Step-by-Step House Cleaning Checklists including the Rotating Tasks and Monthly Focus
  • Helpful Monthly Calendars including an all-in-one pre-filled monthly Homekeeping Calendar
  • Monthly Focus + Quick Tips – every month there’s a different area of the home to focus on so you’re cleaning and organizing your whole home over the course of the year – July’s Monthly Focus is ORGANIZING SYSTEMS.

Plus, you also receive:
