Support for local initiatives

Support for local initiatives

The CME is currently seeking to become more actively involved in assisting local groups from the Vaucluse and the PACA region. It offers skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Engineering: The CME can respond to requests based on projects initiated by local groups, in order to share its experience in the areas of study, diagnosis and strategy. Our fields of intervention include natural hazard prevention, travel and eco-mobility, biodiversity, development of local resources for the tourist industry…

We rely on the voluntary initiative project planning agency “Sud Initiatives Environnement” (Southern Initiatives for the Environment) which collates the engineering skills of the CME and the APARE.

  • Education and public awareness: In the context of territorial activities (urban travel, hazard prevention, urban development projects, etc.), local groups need to develop consultation, information and public participation. The CME can contribute its expertise to these issues, accompanying participatory activities proposed by the local initiative, or making use of its own communication tools if required.
